About Save Ital
Built by hand, in Boynton Beach.
The work is the standard. The phone is answered by a person who knows the truck.
The story
Save Ital was founded by one man with one truck and a phone he answered himself. Jahnard McDonald — “Jah” — got into roadside the way most working operators do: by being the person friends and neighbors called when something broke down at the wrong time of night. Around Boynton he picked up a nickname that stuck — “the late-night HERO.”
The name comes from the Caribbean word ital — natural, vital, alive. Jah picked it because the work is about being there when somebody is anything but. A dead battery on I-95 at 2am. A flat shoulder in the rain. A locked car with a kid inside. The job is to show up, do clean work, and not make a bad moment worse.
What sets Jah apart from a standard tow op is the depth of the bench. Years before the truck, he was elbow-deep in mechanics and auto parts — diagnosing why cars actually break, sourcing the components that fix them. So when he rolls up to your job, you’re not just getting somebody who moves cars. You’re getting somebody who knows what’s wrong and what it’ll take to make it right.
Save Ital specializes in light and medium towing across the Greater Palm Beach area, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Operating to service the community — with the precision and care a job deserves when it comes at the wrong hour.
“I built this so that when you call me at 2am, you get me. Not a script. Not a queue. Not a kid who's never changed a tire. That's the whole point of Save Ital.”
What we stand for
Four things, every job.
The phone is answered.
Around the clock, holidays included. If we miss a call it's because we're literally on another job — and we call back within minutes.
Quoted before we roll.
The price you hear on the call is the price you pay on scene. No hookup fee surprises. If the scope changes, we tell you before we touch a thing.
Rigged right, every load.
Calibrated tie-downs at manufacturer-spec anchor points, photo-documented load condition before we drive, and operators who treat your vehicle like it's ours.
Straight answer, every time.
If your battery is done, we tell you. If a part needs a shop, we tell you. If the job isn't ours, we tell you that too. No upsell theatre.
